What are SASAENGS?

A sasaeng fan (사생팬) is widely known to be an excessively obsessed Hallyu fan. Although "sasaengs" are largely not considered as fans, many sources still refer to them as "sasaeng fans". Soompi described sasaeng fans as extreme fans who stalk their idols and invade their privacy with questionable methods.

Types of kpop fans

These SASAENGS are the worst kind of fans you can have when you become an idol. There are different kind of fans: the average fans, the normal fans, the Anti-fans and the SASAENGS. The normal fans are the best one to have cause as normal fans, we wil support and protect the group that we love. The average fans are those who just love to listen to the groups' music. The Anti fans are also rather scary, they will bash and criticize the group that they hate and at everything they do. Last but not least...

SASAENGS 

They are the creepiest fans to have because they are like professional stalkers! They spend all their time, energy and money in order to chase their favourite idols!

As you can see, Junsu is just taking a friendly picture with an unknown female fan. However, as you can see, there is a huge bunch of SASAENGS gathered outside the cafe and staring into the cafe!  That is so freaking creepy!!! It feels like a huge swarm of zombies staring down at you. I really feel sorry for those customers sitting near the window. 

Even though the photo is rather old, there are many SASAENG incidents happening now... 

For example, have you heard EXO Baekhyun's brother wedding?

This incident was recent where EXO SASAENGS invaded Baekhyun's Brother wedding just to take photos of EXO when they performed for the wedding couple. In the end, The SASAENGS crashed the wedding! Sadly, there is no way to control them, they will do anything to get noticed by their idols. They can never be considered as fans unless they stop being excessively obsessed with their idols. They really have no sense of shame! So annoying! Hope they will really stop these acts and start anew.
