[NEWS] AJ to temporary leave U-KISS this January!!!

It has been revealed that U-KISS' AJ will return to Columbia University to complete his studies this January.

But no worries as this doesn't mean he's leaving the group, he'll just be taking a temporary leave of absence as he resumes his studies to maintain his enrollment at the school like he has done previously.

NH Media wrote on U-KISS' official website:

Hello. It's NH Media.
We thank the fans who are always supporting U-KISS.
We are making an announcement about the important matter of AJ's study overseas in the States.
AJ, who is currently enrolled in Columbia University, will be returning to the States starting January 2014 to continue his studies.
We know that many of you will be surprised by the sudden announcement ahead of their comeback.
It does not mean that he will leave U-KISS, and just like how he had a short hiatus for his studies last year, [AJ] plans to return to promote with U-KISS after completing his studies.
Their scheduled activities within this year for their 8th mini album, which will begin soon, will go on as planned with no changes.
We apologize for sharing this news ahead of the promotions for their 8th mini album. There will be no changes to the activities for their mini 8th album that starts this week, so please give them your interest and support.
Thank you.

So it seems KissMe's will have to treasure the next few months until 2014 as AJ will be absent from activities for at least a portion of next year.

[NEWS] LOEN Entertainment denies IU Red Shoes Plagiarism Controversy!!!

LOEN Entertainment denied the plagiarism accusations surrounding IU's "The Red Shoes", which netizens noticed sounds similar to Nekta's "Here's Us".

LOEN Entertainment responded on the 26th, "We are releasing our official response after reviewing the opinions of 'The Red Shoes' composer Lee Min Soo and other music experts. A portion of the melody for 'Here's Us' and the melody of the second measure [B part] in 'The Red Shoes' sound similar but the chord progression of the two songs are totally different."

"'The Red Shoes' uses a B-flat minor scale chord progression with a B-flat minor-bm7-cm7-cm6-f7sus4-f7 but 'Here's Us' uses a dominant scale chord progression of B-flat major. Also, the chorus and first measure [A part], the song's latter-half bridge part, as well as the overall melody, composition, and instrumental arrangement reveal it to be a totally different song."

The agency also assured fans that IU will continue with her activities as planned, stating, "[IU] is currently preparing for her upcoming solo concert to be held at the end of November and her Japanese promotions to be carried out at the end of the year. She is also carrying out her filming schedule for her drama, 'Pretty Man', as originally scheduled."

[NEWS] IU Red shoes caught in Plagiarism Controversy!!!

In the midst of her success with her latest album 'Modern Times', IU has been caught up in a plagiarism controversy over "The Red Shoes".

Many listeners have been commenting that the track, composed by Lee Min Soo and lyrics written by Kim Ee Na, is noticeably similar to Nekta's "Here's Us", which was released in 2009.

Not only have some netizens compiled comparison clips of the two songs, but the phrase "IU The Red Shoes plagiarism?" has been climbing the ranks of search terms.

However, netizens and listeners remain divided on the issue, commenting, "All musical songs sound similar, but the two songs are very similar," "Maybe it's a sample? What is this, I hope someone explains soon," and "It's a common melody in swing jazz. I don't think it's a controversy.

For this week, we have Super Junior's Siwon, SISTAR Dasom, Wonder Girls' Yubin & Crayon Pop!!!

Super Junior Siwon

Super Junior's Siwon caught eyes with his rugged transformation for the cover of 'Arena Homme Plus'!

Siwon looked like a businessman with edge, enjoying his morning coffee on the streets, and some facial hair to complete his rugged look.

He showed that he not only matured on the outside but on the inside as well as he shared, "Although there wasn't any special happening, I was able to clear up various thoughts this year. I have a lot to be thankful for. If you can't think of anything to be thankful for, it means you have become someone with too much greed."

So how do you like Siwon's new look?

SISTAR Dasom

Dasom got all dolled up for her November 'Vogue Girl' photoshoot!

The concept of the photoshoot was 'The main character in a Tim Burton movie'. She left her hair slightly tousled and went for dark, intense make up, pairing it up with dark outfits to transform into a dark, mysterious doll.

Even though Dasom was busy preparing for SISTAR's first concert, she came to the set happy and not looking tired at all. The concept might have been difficult for some, but she pulled it off expertly.

Wonder Girls Yubin

"Wonderfuls" were delighted to see Wonder Girls' Yubin again through a charming pictorial for 'InStyle'!

Yubin went for a natural look by letting her hair down loose, donning neutral colors, and toning down her makeup. The see-through lace dresses highlighted her lean legs and added a sexy vibe to the pictorial, showing that she's maturing as a woman having recently turned 25.

Crayon pop

Crayon Pop took off their helmets and showed off their pretty looks for 'Marie Claire'!

As you can see, Crayon Pop members each represent a 'color of the crayon' in the doll-like pictorial for 'Marie Claire'

Crayon Pop took on a quite literal concept, 'color of the crayon', for their colorful pictorial. Each member brought out the personality of a different color through their makeup and curly hairstyles, leaving fans to wonder if this is the same group of girls that have been making waves with their 'Bar Bar Bar' dance and quirky outfts.

The magazine also unveiled BTS photos so check out the different colors of Crayon Pop!
